Kristjan Hayden has worked as a hairstylist and makeup artist for the past 14 years. He is a full time stylist and creative director at Civello Salons and also tours with Aveda as an international platform artist for shows and as an educator.
Kristjan is frequently seen on television as a beauty expert and spokesperson. He can be seen as the hair stylist on W Network’s makeover television show, Rags To Red Carpet. He is also seen regularly as a contributor to makeovers and fashion segments on CBC’s daytime talk show Steven and Chris. Other media appearances have also included E-Talk, MTV, Muchmusic, Star! and Entertainment Tonight.
His style tips and techniques are often used as content for beauty stories in magazines, newspapers and online features.
Kristjan has worked with a large number of celebrity clients ranging from actors Olivia Wilde and Nina Dobrev, to musician Emily Haines from Metric. He has also styled MTV’s Lo Bosworth and Stefanie Pratt from The Hills and Whitney Port from The City.
His editorial clients have included publications such as Vogue Japan, Flare, Fashion and Glow Magazine.
